Caroline Villeneuve

I started wakesurfing 10 years ago in Quebec. Although I have surfed many different lakes all over the world, I have to admit that my home lake, Koocanusa, is my favourite place to surf. I can’t pick a favourite trick, I enjoy them all and prefer doing a variety of tricks to keep things fun. I love it when my friends bring their tunes onto my boat, I like everything…just no death metal please! I spend so much time on the boat with H2o School that I get sick of my own playlists.

I am the youngest of 3 children, and although we live far apart, my siblings and I are still very close. I love snowskating and snowmobiling in the winter months and everything water-related in the summer. Some people may not know this about me, but I have a degree in Kinesiology and I really love to use my knowledge to help me coach.

Becoming the World Champion in Pro Women Skim division and winning the very prestigious “Wakesurfing Person of the year” award in 2015. Over the past 10 years, I’ve podiumed 54 times out of the 57 judged wakesurfing events I participated to (including 31 first places).
